Nepal - Poon Hill and Annapurna Basecamp Trek.
The Annapurna Basecamp Trek is one of the most popular treks in Nepal, if not the world. On our 15-day journey you will reach the base camp of the world’s 10th highest mountain, Annapurna (8,091m/26,545ft). It’s a spectacular journey on foot to the South Face of Annapurna.
On the first few days of our trek we’ll climb to the summit of Poon Hill from where the entire Annapurna range can be seen, including the famous peaks of the Annapurna range, not least Annapurna I, the first 8000m peak climbed in Nepal. The trek passes through beautifully scenic deep valleys, lush rhododendron forests, scattered villages over high ridges and ascends the narrow gorge of the tumbling Modi Khola. The trail above Chomrong can be rough and sometimes challenging but the rewards that await in the Annapurna Sanctuary are worth every bit of effort you spend getting there
