Guided Classic Scrambling with Graham Uney Mountaineering
We offer a professional, fully qualified and accredited private guiding service for any scrambles throughout the UK.
Have you always wanted to tackle one of the classic ridge and buttress scrambles, such as The Aonach Eagach above Glencoe, Slab and Notch on Pillar Rock in the western Lake District, Cam Crag Ridge above Borrowdale, the Cneifion Arete above Llyn Idwal, or the Cyfrwy Arete on Cadair Idris? Well, these and thousands more classic mountain scrambles are available. Get in touch if you want us to organise and guide you on the mountain scramble of your dreams! We will agree a date with you, and book in a qualified instructor to guide you.
We provide all the technical gear, including ropes, harnesses, helmets, and a scrambling rack. You just need your own walking clothing, walking boots, a rucksack, packed lunch, and bags of enthusiasm! A full kit list is sent out when you book.
Our prices for Bespoke Classic Scrambles are based on 1 or 2 people booking together. We’ll agree a date to suit you.
Lake District Classic Scrambles: £240 per day.
Snowdonia Classic Scrambles: £260 per day.
Scottish Highlands Classic Scrambles: £300 per day.
Arran Classic Scrambles : £580 for two days scrambling on Arran.
Skye Cuillin scrambles (three days on the Skye Munros): £980.
Open Guided Scrambles
We also offer a range of scheduled Guided Scrambles, on the dates below. These follow on similar lines to our private days (as above) but are bookable by individuals. These do need a minimum of two people booked (4 on Helvellyn and Blencathra Edges days) to go ahead, but it can be a cheaper option if you can’t persuade a friend to join you and you don’t mind teaming up with someone you’ve just met! We’ll put the group together, and you just turn up, enjoy a fabulous scrambling day, and make new friends too. What’s not to like! If for any reason we can’t get the minimum number of people required on any one day, we’ll offer you either a transfer onto another day, or a full refund of the fees you’ve paid to us. Guaranteed!
Of course, any of the guided scrambles below could be used to form the basis of a private day out with us too. Just drop us an email or message to discuss this.
