We also offer a wide range of refresher workshops for candidates who are in their consolidation period, as well as for those who are already qualified and looking to enhance their own skillset through up-to-date CPD.
Indoor Climbing Assistant - combined training and assessment courses
Indoor Climbing Assistant is for people aged 16+ who want to support a qualified instructor to deliver climbing sessions on an artificial wall. It’s all about becoming a competent assistant in a climbing wall setting.
Climbing Wall Instructor - training courses
Climbing Wall Instructor - assessment courses
Climbing Wall Instructors deliver climbing sessions on artificial climbing walls. They can instruct and supervise climbing on bouldering walls, roped climbing walls and auto belays.
Camping Leader - assessment courses (training courses are online only)
Camping Leaders supervise groups of novice or young campers, teaching them campcraft skills and creating a safe and enjoyable overnight experience.
Lowland Leader - training courses

Lowland Leaders take groups of walkers into the countryside so they can experience the benefits of the great outdoors. The qualification is suitable for new or experienced hike leaders.

Hill and Moorland Leaders enjoy introducing people to hiking in varied terrain, leading groups in the hills and exploring away from the path. Hill and moorland areas in the UK and Ireland have a different geology and history to the lowlands and mountains, offering an accessible feeling of wilderness to those who wander there.

Mountain Leaders offer people an opportunity to explore the UK and Ireland’s highest mountains on foot, where spectacular views feed the soul, challenging terrain tests the body and making the right decisions is essential. Mountain Leaders can also lead walks in hill, moorland and lowland areas.
Refresher workshops - for trainees and qualified instructors
A wide range of refresher and CPD workshops covering most aspects of the syllabi for the walking leader qualifications, including lots of different courses focussing on navigation, environment workshops, ropework refreshers for ML, and even a 2-day expedition including a wild camp and night navigation for ML trainees.
